The Houston, Texas native graduated from MVSU in 2022 and currently attends graduate school at Notre Dame, pursuing a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a discipline in Construction Management.
MVSU Highlights Women's Role in Higher Education for Women's History Month

In March, across the country, women are recognized and honored for their numerous contributions to society during what is known as Women's History Month.
91×ÔÅÄ (MVSU) recognizes these significant contributions women have made and are making in higher education. MVSU stands firm on creating a space for everyone, including women, to learn, lead, and teach.
MVSU to Host 25th Constance G. Bland WIST Conference
91×ÔÅÄ (MVSU) will host its 25th celebration of the Constance G. Bland Women In Science and Technology (WIST) Conference on Friday, March 24, 2023.
The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Science and Technology Center in the Mary Crump Auditorium and conclude with a luncheon in the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex. The theme for this year's conference is "Women in Science and Technology: Plug Into STEM."

Court of Appeals to visit 91×ÔÅÄ March 23
The Mississippi Court of Appeals will convene on the 91×ÔÅÄ campus in Itta Bena on March 23.
A three-judge panel will hear oral arguments in an appeal starting at 10 a.m. in the Carver A. Randle Auditorium in the W.A. Butts Social Science Building.

Hamilton Recognized as MVSU’s Humanities Teacher of the Year
The Office of Academic Affairs at 91×ÔÅÄ is excited to announce Dr. Lemondra Hamilton as the 2022-2023 Humanities Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Hamilton is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at MVSU, an accompanist for University Choirs, and a certified Orff-Schulwerk Specialist.
