ITTA BENA, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State Women's Basketball will host its Elite Camp inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex on Saturday, July 29. The Elite Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Camp cost is set at $60 per participant.

Itta Bena, Miss – 91���� (MVSU) has announced plans to offer students financial assistance by forgiving debt for students with balances enrolled from Fall 2021 until Spring 2023.

ITTA BENA, Miss.—91����'s Office of Communications and Marketing team members won nine awards during the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi's (CPRAM's) Awards Ceremony held during the group's annual conference.

Additionally, Maxie has been chosen to serve on the 2023-24 CPRAM Board as a four-year college representative. 

91���� held its 71^st Commencement Ceremony Saturday morning in the R.W. Harrison Complex, and 230 undergraduate and 45 graduate students crossed the stage to receive their degrees.

MVSU alum Dr. Trina N. George, State Director-Rural Development with the Mississippi United States Department of Agriculture, was the keynote speaker and told graduates to "live their story."

91���� scholars Uchechi Nworah and Aaradhana Saxena won the state-wide 2023 StudyMississippi International Student of the Year award in the Undergraduate and Graduate categories, respectively.

This award recognizes the exceptional personal contributions of international students to student life and community outreach in Mississippi.

91���� is pleased to announce plans to hold its 71^st Commencement Exercise at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Rice-Totten Stadium.

All graduates are asked to arrive at 6:30 a.m. in regalia. The gates to the stadium will open at 7 a.m. for the general public.

91���� scholar's stars shined the brightest among other STEM students nationwide during the 2023 Association of Computer and Information Science/Engineering Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI) symposium.

The event was held in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and was themed "Computing for Social Good." The symposium highlighted undergraduate and graduate research interested in computing innovations.
