ITTA BENA, Miss.—The 91×ÔÅÄ Mock Trial Team scored well recently during the Mid-South Invitational Mock Trial Tournament at Middle Tennessee State University in November.
During the four-round, two-day tournament, MVSU brought home another individual award.

From the time she first picked up a basketball to her current position as 91×ÔÅÄ’s athletic academic counselor, Joi Walker has nurtured a deep connection with athletics. And while Walker loves sports, she has never been 100 percent defined by what occurs between the lines but by what happens outside of them as well.

ITTA BENA, Miss.— A 91×ÔÅÄ faculty member is now leading a state organization for developmental educators.
MVSU Director of Academic Success and Student Development Heather Tanner was recently sworn in as president of the Mississippi Association for Development Education (MADE) Nov. 9 in Jackson.
As president, Tanner will have the opportunity to influence MADE’s mission to improve the theory and practice of Developmental Education.
