First Lady Deborah Bynum Presents Girl, You Deserve Better

First Lady Deborah Bynum presents, 鈥淕irl, You Deserve Better鈥 with motivational speaker and domestic violence survivor, Christy Pickering.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 in the Sutton Administration Building 鈥 Auditorium 103 in honor of Women鈥檚 History Month.

This event is free and open to the public.

Pickering will be on the Mississippi Valley State Campus to share her story of living in an abusive relationship and how she finally found happiness.

Wroten Set to Begin Career with Amazon

For Donte鈥 Wroten helping others is a passion.

It is a passion that started with his grandfather Melvin Wroten, Jr. who reared the 22-year-old Moss Point native to always look out for others.

That love for helping others has landed the graduating business administration major at 91自拍 (MVSU) a job with Amazon following his commencement in May.

Amazon is the world鈥檚 largest online retailer.  Last year, the company was the fastest  to ever reach $100 billion in sales.
