According to research by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), women comprise only 34 percent of the workforce in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The gender gaps are exceptionally high in some of the fastest-growing and highest-paid jobs of the future, like computer science and engineering.

91自拍 will host the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Black History Convocation at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, in the Walter Roberts Auditorium in the H.G. Carpenter Building.

The 2024 theme for Black History Month is 鈥淎frican Americans and the Arts,鈥 which seeks to raise awareness of the influence that African Americans have had in visual and performing arts, literature, fashion, folklore, language, film, music, architecture, culinary and other forms of cultural expression.
